Computer Changes The Way Humans Think

Better Eye Sight

It’s not all negative changes however and a 2013 study found that first person shooter video games like Call of Duty boosted decision-making and visual skills. First person shooter games require users to make snap reflex decisions based on visual stimuli and this can enhance visuospatial attention skills. It has also been suggested that video game players are better at differentiating between objects in a poorly lit environment.

Multi tasking has apparently been stimulated by video games too and it has been argued that a video game like Starcraft could improve the brain’s “cognitive flexibility.” This is done to Starcraft, for example, requiring users to switch between multiple task, often at great speed. Video games were found to benefit older users hugely and helped them to develop multi-tasking skills they didn’t have previously.
